    "content": "Sugarcane farmers are some of the worst hit in this country. Every now and then we see in newspapers that farmers have stayed for months or years without any payment. That puts them in a very awkward position. Any taxation relief given to them would go a long way to assist in having something in their pockets. I support relief of this nature where farmers will not pay tax on transportation of the sugarcane to the factory. In the past, we have really tried to get farmers to come together so that they can transport the sugarcane to the factory themselves. That way they would escape any taxation on transportation."
