"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, it was Kshs35,000 up to December 2015. It has recently been reduced to Kshs15,000. Therefore, from the future plans that they have and the money that the donors and the GOK is putting in place, I am sure that it will be in the interest of Kenya Power Company to reduce it further. For now, it has been reduced from Kshs35,000 to Kshs 15,000 and he can take this appeal from this House to Kenya Power Company and policy makers to reduce it further so that all Kenyans will be able to access power by 2020 as is stated in this Statement."
