    "content": "Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this very important Motion by my colleague, Hon. Yusuf, from Kamukunji. I want to congratulate him on this occasion. Kamukunji grounds are a historic place which is synonymous to the second liberation struggle. I was there during the Kamukunji rally that was attended by the doyen of Kenya Opposition politics, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and the likes of Philip Gachoka, Charles Rubia, Martin Shikuku and Kenneth Matiba. As I speak, that field is neglected. It has no infrastructure or protection. It is important for the Government to provide physical facilities like ablution blocks, sanitation facilities, roads and shelter for the people who use that ground. Kamukunji is not alone. We have such other grounds all over the City of Nairobi which have equally been neglected like Huruma Grounds, Mathare Grounds and Githurai Grounds in The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
