My concern is about the preservation of public utilities in our constituencies and in our counties, particularly in Nairobi, where 70 per cent of public utility land has been grabbed. We urge the National Land Commission (NLC) to reclaim and repossess all that land. Recently, in Zimmerman area within my constituency, we identified a public utility space of about an acre that had been set aside for a recreation facility for a secondary school by the Zimmerman Housing Company. Today, it has been grabbed and occupied.
