    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I thank the Chairperson for issuing the statement. I am happy that the statement has covered contentious areas. Nonetheless, I have a few clarifications. This road was constructed in the 1960s before major towns came up. These towns have grown into huge shopping centres resulting in high population along the roads. It is common sense that when it rains, most people concentrate their activities along the road. There are also motorists who drive fast along this road, especially vehicles ferrying Miraa from Meru. Every other day, there is somebody dying on this road---"
