"content": "On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I thank you for that communication. As you said, our understanding is that when a Bill goes to either House from the other House, the primary intention is to seek concurrence. However, the pattern that has emerged is that when a Bill comes from the National Assembly, the level of debate here is such that we normally do it in absolute good faith. It is disturbing me that most of our Bills that go to the National Assembly not only take too long, but when they end up being debated, there is a deliberate effort to try and reject them. Not that we mind rejection. However, this is starting to beg for answers to two questions: What is the quality of debate in the National Assembly?
