    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I also wish to join my colleagues to first of all express sadness and send my condolences to citizens of this country who have lost their loved ones needlessly, out of these incidents. As I speak on this Motion, I, as Senator for Bomet and, perhaps, my colleague from Kericho County, get worried when we hear about clashes in Kopere area which is only 50 or 60 miles from Kericho. I am worried because there is an industrial action that is going on in Kericho in the tea estates. It was purely an industrial action but I am worried because it is mutating very slowly and deliberately towards a situation where it cannot be controlled. This is because this is a cosmopolitan area where there are residents from Nyanza and other places in the country. Two days ago, it was industrial action but from what has transpired yesterday and today in those areas, it has completely changed its face. Now, it involves not only burning of property of those companies but also residences of managers in the tea estates. It has changed completely. Communities are accusing each other of burning houses of other communities. Therefore, it ceases to be an industrial action and will soon mutate into something that is similar to what we are discussing and is happening in Nyanza.
