    "content": "As we approve this Appropriation Bill, it is vital to mention that the national Government expenditure for 2016/2017 amounts to Kshs2.27 trillion. A bulk of these resources are meant to fund priority programmes and activities in the infrastructure docket of transport, energy, education, security, health and others. It is my hope that these resources will be used in a transparent and accountable manner."
