    "content": "Section 1 of this Protocol deals with the interpretation of words and phrases as used in the statutes. Section 2 deals with the objectives of the Protocol, the first objective being promotion of trade within the community and partners, implementation of harmonisation, regionalisation and transparency. Section 3 is concerned with the scope of the status of the statute which is in two forms: firstly, in terms of the subject matter and secondly in terms of the economic bloc covered – the Republic of Burundi, the Republic of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Uganda."
