"content": "From a global perspective, what the British did is against what we learnt in school in Economics. I want to remind you of a book by a very known scholar, Adam Smith, who advocates for larger markets and economies because it is not economically viable to build a factory for 10 people. It makes economic sense to establish a factory for 100,000 people, so that they can benefit from economies of scale. So, the Brexit referendum on exit of Britain from the European market was not well informed by real economic paradigms."
