Members, you may recall during today’s Morning Sitting that the House approved the Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the Second Supplementary Estimates for the 2015/2016 Financial Year including amendments proposed by the Leader of the Majority Party, Hon. Aden Duale. The said amendments increased the Development Budget to a net amount of Kshs27,441,547,334 taking into account the proposed reduction of Kshs7,519,683,629."
