    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 35 be amended by – (a) re-numbering the existing provision as sub-clause (1); (b) in the new sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “and adolescents” appearing immediately after the words “female genital mutilation”; (c) inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (1)- (2) All persons who get health complications as a result of forced or voluntary genital mutilation shall access treatment from any health care provider without discrimination. The purpose of the amendment is to ensure that all persons who get complications after undergoing female genital mutilation (FGM), voluntary or forced shall access treatment from any healthcare provider without discrimination."
