    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to add my voice to the debate on the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill. I want to note what Hon. Millie has said about this Bill before she left. I agree education is very important. It is key to development in any nation. However, some of the people from the pastoralists communities were denied education by the colonialists because they noted that they were very intelligent. They wanted to be educated. However, giving education to pastoralists during the colonial era was a major threat to the colonialists, and to the subsequent governments."
