"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise to support this Petition. I wish to confirm to the House that I was out of the country last week. It is proper for Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale to present this Petition on behalf of Kenyans. At the end of the day, we will work together as a House to achieve the objective. The issue of the parks in Isiolo has been pertinent. It has been ongoing for a very long time. From the information that I have, proper consultation has not been done. In this era, with the provision of the new Constitution, it is important for Kenyans to know their rights and how their property is invested. This park has been generating revenue and creating employment to quite a number of people. It is important for them to be consulted so that they can know what their fate is once this changes hand. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I support this Petition. It is important for the process to be fast- tracked. I am sure the Senate will work on this and make sure that justice is done."
