No. OP/CAB/9/67A dated 10th August, 2010, the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President directed all Permanent Secretaries and Accounting Officers of the Government and Parastatals to procure all air travel tickets directly from Kenya Airways; (b) whether he is also aware that the directive altered the specific provisions of Section 4 (1) (a) of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act and has caused concern to other airlines; and, (c) what steps he is taking to ensure the circular is withdrawn immediately."
