    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.45(2)(b) to seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation regarding the Mogonga-Kenyenya-Nyansembe Road in Kisii County. In it, he should state:- (1) If he is aware that various unfulfilled promises have been made by the national Government regarding improvement to bitumen standards of Mogonga-Kenyenya- Nyansembe Road in Kisii County. (2) If he is further aware that failure to improve this road has rendered it impassable and severely affected the economic activities in the populous and high potential part of Kisii County. (3) What plans the Ministry of Roads and Transportation has put in place in respect of this road and when the residents should expect improvement work to commence."
