If we were to raise the standards of our schools in this country to the level that they have built theirs, then as a nation, we would be very far and our students would be respected across the whole world. It is no longer a secret that many Kenyan students in many parts of Kenya, including this county, can no longer communicate in English. In fact, the written English in Kenya today is so bad that we need to think very clearly about how to introduce properly trained English teachers in our schools.
