    "content": "Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended by inserting the following new Clause immediately after clause 13- 13A. A valid surrogate parenthood agreement shall provide that- (a) any child born of a surrogate mother in accordance with the agreement is for all purposes the legal child of the commissioning parent or parents from the moment of conception; (b) the surrogate mother shall not terminate the pregnancy except as provided or by law; (c) the surrogate mother is obliged to hand the child over to the commissioning parent or parents as soon as is reasonably possible after the birth; (d) the commissioning parents shall not reject or discriminate against the child under any circumstances; (e) the surrogate mother, her spouse, partner or relative shall have no right of parenthood or care of the child; The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
