"content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I rise to strongly support any initiative, like this one, that attempts to equalize the boys and girls; the men and women of the Republic of Kenya. I, therefore, wish to confirm that I support this Bill, because of Article 100 of the Constitution, which provides that affirmative action should be extended to women, amongst other minority and marginalized groups, including persons living with disability. I support this Bill for the sake of my daughters. I have beautiful girls who are very brilliant. In fact, it normally gives me a lot of pleasure that so far, my girls continue to score better than my boys in all national examinations. So, I know that the real expression The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
