I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Senate for giving consideration and time to the Bills that have constitutional timelines, bearing in mind that we had sought extension for one year, which expires on 27th August, and that there is no provision for a further extension in the Constitution. Among other Bills that have not been brought back from the Senate, is the Physical Planning Bill, which is very important. It was referred to the Senate way back in December, 2015, but it has not been brought back to this House. Given that the Senate could also be proceeding on leave, this is a very important Bill and I would like to seek your direction as to whether the Senate is going to consider it within the timelines of the deadline."
