"content": "On the issue regarding land, I have heard a leader from the Minority Party argue that it is time we started reclaiming land from foreigners. That is not good talk. We have seen countries like Zimbabwe go to the dogs because of an attempt to do land redistribution which is a noble goal but failing to take into account productivity. When the new owner gets that land, will he be able to put it to better and more productive state? I agree the whipping of emotions where we tell our people that it is time we started sub-dividing land or kicked out foreigners makes a lot of sense. It is a very popular notion. Surely, do you want to take our country the Zimbabwe way where you give people land and yet they cannot put it to productive use?"
