"content": "The Ministry of Education seems unable to deal with this matter. It is high time this matter was declared a national disaster. In my county of Trans Nzoia, and in particular, Kiminini Constituency, a girls’ school, which is sponsored by the Catholic Church was burnt about two days ago. I know the students in that school have been disciplined and the head teacher has been on top of things. I do not understand what is happening. Rarely does a day pass without a school going up in flames. What is happening? This cuts across the country. It happened in Kisii, Machakos and Meru but not in North Eastern. Maybe there is a reason why it has not reached North Eastern. Hon. Duale, do not be sure. Tomorrow it might appear there and as we speak they are listening. So, watch out. Do not say that. It might be on fire anytime."
