"content": "Part of the reason why we have this proposal on the Floor of the House and which has also been fast tracked is as a result of the fact that a lot of aspersions have been cast against the incumbent commissioners of the IEBC. At the same time it is also on record, much as that has happened, that there is very little that has been proven to that effect. It is only recently that the former CEO of the IEBC, Mr. Oswago and Mr. Trevy Oyombra have been lined up for prosecution by the EACC. This is questionable based on what we have seen with an NGO linked to the Chairman of the Commission."
