    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to add my remarks on Hon. Njomo’s (Amendment) Bill. I am a Member of the Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade where we were looking at these amendments. We had a lot of pressure from interested parties, especially the banking sector who opposed it. We categorically told them that we did not need to go their way, but the way which would benefit the common mwananchi . This will put checks in place to ensure they do not only look at profits, but also benefits their customers from their services."
