    "content": "According to the Kenya Population and Housing Census 2009, there are about 39 million people living in Kenya. However, with the population growth of 2.9 per cent per year, the population was about 43 million people as at 2013. According to the progress on drinking water and sanitation updates as per the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) 2014, about 37 per cent of the population do not have access to clean water."
