Speaker, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (Amendment) Bill is currently before the House for the Second Reading but as we all know, there is an ongoing parallel process that is being undertaken by the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee on Matters relating to the IEBC – a Committee which was created by this House. We do not want to cause confusion in terms of the way we want to approach these issues. We must approach these issues in a wholistic manner.
