"content": "(Sen. (Dr) Machage): Order. I refer you to Standing Order No. 109. Please have a seat. You now need to know the procedure of the House. Open the Standing Order which says:- “The Speaker or the Chairperson of Committees, after having called attention to the conduct of a Senator who persists in irrelevance or tedious repetition either of the Senator’s own argument or arguments used by other Senators in debate, may, after having first warned him or her, direct that the Senator discontinue his or her speech”. You will be out of order. You do not begin to say, “I want to speak again as so and so has spoken”. Continue, but the Standing Order is against that."
