"content": "The third Petition was on presented on 21st April by Hon. Raphael Otaalo, Member for Lurambi Constituency. He presented a Petition to this House regarding construction of speed bumps on the Kakamega-Mumias Road, on behalf of the residents of Lurambi. In his Petition, the Petitioner prayed that the Ministry re-carpets and puts speed bumps at designate sections of the Kakamega-Mumias Road, particularly at Shibuli Market and other affected areas along the said road. We invited the CS and the Member was present. Indeed, the recommendations of the Committee and what the CS said is that they have even given a contractor this job. The bumps will be erected on that road very soon. Those are the three Petitions I needed to present to this House this morning.
