    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I concur with the Chair of the Committee because on this one, the Senate got it wrong. As she has put it clearly, the Environmental Management and Coordination Act 1999, is what brought about the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). Therefore, we made changes to it with the new Constitution in mind. That is why we came up with the Environmental Management and Coordination Act, 2015. I am an active Member of the Committee and we reject this as a Committee. When we go to mediation, we will inform them why it should remain as Environmental Management and Coordination Act, 1999 and should not be changed."
