"content": "Hon. Speaker, you will agree with me that Hon. Mwithaga stood out as a true nationalist amongst his compatriots. You will also agree with me that had it not for the efforts and contribution of the likes of Hon. Mwithaga, perhaps the democratic space that we enjoy today could not be there. As we condole with his family, we must remember that it is important for us not to lose sight of the fact that this country has come from far in terms of the struggle for the freedoms and the rights that we currently enjoy. Therefore, I join you and my colleagues in expressing my condolences."
