    "content": "Thank you for your indulgence, Hon. Speaker. I rose on a point of order yesterday to raise a matter but, unfortunately, there was no member from the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) who could have responded to it. The matter was that the PAC issued a directive to the Auditor-General (AG) some months or so ago. It was to do a special audit on the Eurobond matter. Since then, there has been no report by the Committee on the matter. You will recall that this Eurobond matter raised a serious storm then. It is a matter we need to dispense with. But more fundamentally is the question that arises: What constitutes a special audit? If a special audit can take eight, nine or 10 months or one year, it basically turns out to be a normal routine audit. We need comments from the PAC as to the status of this special audit."
