"content": "This is not an issue. But Hon. Makali has indicated that he wants to hear my opinion. My opinion, while I am sitting on this Chair, does not count. When I am out in the village, maybe, it would count. But while I am seated on this Chair, my opinion is of no value because Article 122 of the Constitution clearly states that a Speaker of either House of Parliament has no vote. This opinion you want to hear is not going to be of much value. Except, perhaps, it might help you to make a decision in one way or another, to either approve the establishment of the Select Committee and the Members as proposed or reject it. There is no need of seeking my opinion."
