"content": "I am a Member of the Committee on Implementation and I can see my Chairlady is not here. As a Member of the Committee on Implementation, we want to fast-track this and come up with a Report on why the Public Benefit Organisations Act has not been operationalised almost three years down the line. It is one of the weaknesses we have in this country. We have an Executive picking on people who do not know the effect and the pains of sitting here to debate some things. This Bill was taken very seriously when we passed it almost three years ago. Therefore, it means the debate we had here was in vain. On a light touch, but on a serious note too, the next Government should consider having CSs appointed among politicians."
