    "content": "THAT, Clause 12 of the Bill be amended– (a) in sub-clause (1) by inserting the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph (i)– (j) one person nominated by the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) from their member organizations who has demonstrated competence and capacity in matters related to the petroleum sector. (b) in sub-clause (3) by inserting the words “of the Authority” immediately after the words “the Director-General”; (c) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub-clause (4)– (5) The Advisory Committee shall, in co-opting members to sit in the Committee, ensure that the persons co-opted have the necessary knowledge and experience in the matters under consideration by the Committee."
