    "content": "So, Hon. Speaker with your permission, if I can access the Petition, I can frame it as a Question for the Cabinet Secretary for Health to come and answer. There are many grey areas about this Medanta. We must protect the welfare of our people. They might be sent to India on a procedure that can be done here at a very cheap cost. Kenyans flock to India every day and most of them come back after having spent their money and are told that those procedures could have been done at Kenyatta Hospital or Nairobi Hospital because the cost is still the same. It is good that the staff of Medanta Africare have raised this matter. The Committee should not only stop the extension plans of this group, but they should visit them and get data records of all the patients they have referred to India and whether those ailments can be treated in our country. That is my comment. This is a very serious matter particularly when it comes to the group called Medanta Africare. I do not know who they care for."
