    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, this House passed the Biosafety Act, which created a clearing house. The clearing house was supposed to be operated by a board that was supposed to decide the safe GMOs that must be allowed into the country. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, right now it appears that because of the lack of that board, even an ambassador can direct what can come in. Last week at home, the Gasa elders in Tarasaa complained that in fact, there was a big increase of diabetes and hypertension in the area. Could it be that these GMOs have infiltrated into the villages? When will the Minister set up that board that is supposed to be set up under that Act, so that we can be safe from GMOs?"
