I rise to support the Biomedical Engineers Bill 2015, a Bill that is going to create an Act of Parliament to make provisions for the training, registration and licensing of Biomedical Engineering professionals and also to provide regulations on the standards and practice of this cadre of professionals. This Bill is also meant to provide for the establishment of the powers and functions of the Biomedical Engineering Board and for all the connected purposes."
