"content": "These are serious issues. Hon. Aluoch observed, before we move forward, let us not engage in a futile exercise because we are talking about constitutionalism. Article 1 of the Constitution provides for the supremacy and ultimate authority of the Kenyan people; that the people can exercise their sovereignty directly or through their democratically elected representatives. Since the right of the people to free and fair elections is being interfered with, I support Hon. Aluoch. This matter should be determined right away, before we move forward."
