    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, secondly, I have looked at the articles relating to nominations and noted that we shall have nominations at least 60 days before the next general elections. That means on or about 8th June, 2017 the names of the people who are going to be nominated will have been published. To me that is fair. That means we need to have nominations in the month of May. That is a progressive idea as opposed to the current situation, where we do party nominations a month to the general elections day. This will give ample time to the nominees to campaign. Those who will want to party-hop will also have time to identify other parties to go to. Now that we have allowed party-hopping, people will have chance to do so."
