    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, there are other councils that owe a substantial amount of money to retirement schemes; LapTust or LAFRAFAD. There have been quite a number of meetings. Some councils, for example the Council of Nanyuki, have chosen to sell their assets. In Kisumu, there is a valuation being done to see what kind of trade- off can be done so that there can be an asset transfer. The Ministry is very keen to ensure that all the workers’ pension funds are well protected and we are monitoring each of the 175 councils."
