    "content": "Quite a number of universities have become village universities because they are employing vice-chancellors and staff from within the villages around the universities. It is time we made our universities universal. When I went to college many years back, during initiation, we were told: “Welcome to the University of Nairobi; the universal community of the world.” I want our students to become students of the universal community, not village students.
