Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while going through this mediated report, there is an element where it is stated that the Ministry should assist county governments to build capacity in order to manage their forests. That is a good move which should be the spirit instead of the Government planning to take forests from the people. I support with that rider and hope that the Committee of the National Assembly when making their report, the Senate will also ensure that the rights of the people there are maintained."
