    "content": "The country should rest assured that by Friday, 27th August, 2016 the two Houses will have discharged their responsibilities. Thirdly and finally, I wish the Hon. Senators, fruitful remainder of the recess. It is in this connection, that I consulted with the Senate Minority Leader and the other House Business Committee Members and it was agreed that perhaps in order to adjust to that interruption, we extend the recess by one more week. Instead of resuming on 13th September, 2016, we resume on 20th September, 2016 so that we finalise the important Business that we have started this morning. The Report that has been adopted has two Bills which must be enacted as soon as possible to allow the process of reconstituting the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
