I need the attention of the Chair of the Departmental Committee and the Leader of the Majority Party. There is an amendment proposed by the Member for Bomet Central. Are you aware of the amendment and do you have it in your possession? Departmental Committee Chair, you are the only one who can help the Member move the amendment. Give us your take on the amendment by Hon. Tonui. Hon. Members, those of you who do not have the amendment, the Member of Bomet Central intends to amend Clause 21 by inserting the words “excluding school buses” after the word “vehicles.” This is generally to exempt school buses from Value Added Tax (VAT).
