    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I would like to oppose the dropping of item 10 because of reasons that have been said before. If Kshs400 million is what the Government has put aside to deliver sanitary pads to our girls and on the other side there are very many philanthropic organisations that spend a lot of money to get sanitary pads to those children, I think it would be a shame if we do not do this. The other thing is that at the moment we get sanitary pads through the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) simply because it is cheaper. By dropping this amendment, I think we will be making a mistake. Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady."
