    "content": "The other major one addresses Hon. Mule’s earlier concerns. Before that, we received submissions on the manufacture of cooking stoves which are used by people in rural areas. The Committee agreed that we need to exempt from VAT the raw materials for the manufacture of “cook” stoves to encourage local people to enjoy the benefit of using them as opposed to cooking with firewood, which is destroying our environment. We accepted that we need to exempt VAT on the raw materials for manufacturing “cook” stoves under Clause 27(a)(v)."
