    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I would like to thank the Deputy Leader of the Majority Party for giving me a minute to make my contribution. I support this Bill. I was a victim of election violence and to date that case has not been concluded. Acts of destroying election materials and even defacing of candidates’ adverts still exist. Pulling down of candidates’ materials should be well catered for in this law. We need to legislate against early campaigning because right now there are candidates already on the ground with posters even before the election period is declared.
