    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me an opportunity to comment. I would like to state that Changamwe is an area where Kenyans from all walks of life and from parts of Kenya live. It is really cosmopolitan. The residents of the coastal area generally have had a long history with land issues. It is strange for land which is already occupied by residents and which already belongs to the people to be alienated or a State corporation purports that it wants to own it. In fact, the State corporation, assisted by the parliamentary committee, could find a method of making sure that these residents are not landless and have a place to live. There are people who have been landless for a long time and they have no hope for the future. So, this Petition provides an opportunity to make sure that the people from that particular area of Changamwe have land and have a place they can call home. I support and thank you for giving me the opportunity."
