Last week when Members of the National Assembly passed the various electoral laws, there was a wide misconception by members of the fourth estate that the Bills had been passed and that they were awaiting presidential assent. Some of these misconceptions could be taken out of hand especially with regard to the vote that we have just taken this afternoon. Will I be in order to ask the Chair to make a brief Communication as to the impact of what we have done today? This being an important matter, the people of Nyeri County should understand that the process is still on."
