"content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I thank you for giving me this opportunity. I would want to say that, indeed, we have worked very hard as Parliament. As a nominated Member of Parliament, representing women and children, I can say that I am proud of the work I do here; I am proud that I sponsored the Counter Trafficking in Persons Act that was passed this year, and even if I leave Parliament now, I will be happy that I have fulfilled my mandate. I would want to say that, as a country, one of the things that we have not done is that we have not been kind to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). We need to prioritise the issue of IDPs and the victims of post-election violence. We must prioritise the issue of IDPs just as we prioritised the issue of the ICC. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, as I conclude, I want to say that as a human rights lawyer, I was not supportive of the Motion brought here by hon. Ruto, but I would want to say---"
